Fall in Denmark Sounds

Denmark fall is distinctive from Seattle fall in the bitter cold wind, but as a small consolation the tree leaves also change to rich oranges and reds and yellows. The slush of wet leaves underfoot, the smell of crisp air, and the reintroduction of scarves into my wardrobe marks the beginning of my favorite season. And with this seasonal change, the music I listen to also adjusts to the slower pace of this time of year. I downshift into quieter sounds with lyrics forcing introspection, conducive to lounging around drinking tea and staying warm under blankets. To celebrate my favorite time of year, I wanted to share a few new favorite songs added to my traditional fall soundtrack.

Department of Eagles – Phantom Other

Horse Feathers – Curse of Weeds

Laura Marling – Tap at My Window
