ha- i put this on the wrong post originally…
i love this post, and i love your photos. ima make an effort to take more portraits/self portraits with the depth of soul/feeling/mood you capture.
These are so beautiful Serene. I really admire what you’ve done here. Great idea.
I completely agree with you – although some great things happened to me this year, most of them started in 2006 anyway. 2007 has been pretty shitty for everyone around me for the most part. I am ready to start anew! Sleep well, Beast.
Serene!
What a lovely idea, what a wonderful post. It seems that many of us bloggers are feeling the…umm…stress (perhaps) of the end of the year? And yet, this post is so lovely. Thank you for sharing it.

PS What dat girl wit da freckles??
I’m so glad you chose to review the year this way. So much better than the trite list of accomplishments or happenings. I’m so glad that we got to see each other so much in 2007. May 2008 be filled with more scholarly, happy, triumphant moments.
